VIDIZMO allows Administrators to customize portal’s navigation menu and add links to any resource that can be accessed via a URL. This can be a VIDIZMO channel, category, published media, external web page, and/or intranet site, etc. In the Navigation Menu, certain links such as the Account Homepage, Channel Homepage, and All Channels are not changeable. However, the sequence of these three links can be changed.

The navigation menu of an Account/Channel can be presented in two distinct ways based on the header type selected. It can be selected with the header that encompasses banner, whereas, without header, the menu will not have any edges or borders. This setting can only be updated by the Administrator or Manager from the Branding tab in the Account/Channel Settings.

Note: This menu can be customized for each Channel in your Account, or you can also choose to inherit the menu from the Account in all Channels.


1. At the Account/Channel Homepage, go to Admin >> Settings.

2. At the Settings page, click on Branding tab.


3. At the Branding tab, scroll down and locate Navigation Menu, from here: 

i. Enter a suitable Label and paste the URL where you want to redirect the user upon clicking.

ii. Click on Add Link in Menu.

Note: Ensure to enter the URL of your desired menu beginning with http.

Note: Select the Display for authenticated users only checkbox in case if you want to add the link in the menus of authorized users only.

4. The label of your newly created menu appears at the bottom as highlighted below.

5. You also have the option to reorder or change the sequence of the menus as required. Drag and drop the highlighted drag button in order to display it after the 3rd menu (in this case HR).

6. You have changed the order of the menu. Now click on Update to save your changes.

7. A notification will display stating: Channel details have been updated successfully. The menu will be added successfully 

to your Account/Channel Homepage.

Inherit Menu From An Account To A Channel

You can also inherit the custom or default menu from your Account to the Channel. Following is a step by step guide:

1. At the Account/Channel Homepage, go to Admin >> Settings.

2. At the Settings page, click on Branding tab. 

3. At the Branding tab, scroll to Customized Header and select the Inherit from Parent Channel checkbox. 

4. Click on Update to save your changes.

5. A notification message will display stating: Channel details have been updated successfully. 

6. The Navigation Menu reflects the changes you just made.
